When visiting the lower marsh creek clearing, it is immediately apparent that this is an area of tranquillity and peacefulness. Its existing condition is one of the cleared fields used for grazing animals, surrounded by an enclosed forest. A void within a filled space. To ensure that the environmental qualities of this area are improved and enhanced,and the atmospheric quality is maintained, it has been decided to purposely limit the built form within the void area to the edges and ends. The grazing field is transformed into a wetland area that enhances the natural beauty of the setting whilst also offering up a number of new activities that will attract visitors to this area of the site.
