The Interchange Hub is a design competition for a new interchange station and a mixed-use development. The new interchange station combines metro lines no.3 & no.6 with optimised urban planning for the bus station and surrounding transportation system to form an interchange hub of public transportation for the north area of Guanyingqiao.
Mixed-use development benefits from the advantages of public transport convenience and large passenger flow of integrated interchange hub. Strategic design helps to make up insufficient provision of retail centres to surrounding residents. Diverse and efficient use of the land helps to stimulate and facilitate public transport while balancing and maximising social and commercial benefits. The new urban iconic mixed-use development will be the brand carrier for Vanke.
